I really value my time spent at Similkameen Artist Residency. It was the perfect spot to reflect and refresh. I spent my days sketching in the studio and enjoying the unique landscape. I would catch the sunrise, walk or bike by the river and explore the property. I was able to disconnect and truly relax into a routine of low expectation and play. I was given room to breathe and space to create for myself.  My practice has changed for the better and I am so glad to have stayed at this residency and met other artists who I am sure were on a similar journey.
